Hossein Alizadeh won Sunday's second stage of the Tour de Singkarak in Indonesia.

    Script:

Quite a reception awaited the riders at stage two of the Tour de Singkarak.

But it wasn't long before it was down to the serious business - and 123.5 kilometres to Pasaman Barat.

The Equator was soon crossed with heat and humidity playing a significant role in seperating the best cyclists from the rest,

Ahmad Haida Anuawar was one of several riders who failed to make it to the end.

At the front, six Iranians broke clear - and stayed clear.

Hossein Alizadeh was eventually given the stage win in a time of three hours six minutes and 31 seconds.

Arvin Moazemi Godarzi in second, Amir Zargari in third and the remaining trio were all awarded the same time.

It meant that Moazemi Godarzi snatched the yellow jersey away from stage one winner, Kohei Uchima.
