Top scorer Park Mihyun finally got back to top form with two goals.

    Script:

Korea narrowed the gap on the top two teams in Pool A with an exciting 4-2 victory over Belgium at the Women's Hockey World Cup in the Netherlands.

After enduring three disappointing opening games, Korea's top scorer Park Mihyun seemed to rediscover her form with two goals.

Team-mate Eunbi Cheon put her side ahead in the twelfth minute, but Belgium recovered quickly and equalised through a powerful Jill Boon effort three minutes later.

Alix Gerniers turned in a rebounded shot shortly after the break to send Belgium ahead only for Park to dispatch a precise low shot to equalise for Korea.

In the 55th minute Park remained composed in front of goal to regain Korea's lead from close range, before Cheon wrapped up the win when she latched onto Heo Jaeseong's cross from an acute angle.

Korea's victory gives the team a total of seven points from four games in Pool A, although they need another three points from their final game against the host nation to have any chance of qualifying for the semi-finals.
