Netherlands defeated Australia 2-0-in the Women's Hockey World Cup.

Goals from Kim Lammers and Naomi van As wrapped up a win for the hosts.

    Script:

The two unbeaten teams in Group A, the Netherlands and Australia, faced each other at the Women's Hockey World Cup in the Hague.

Both sides had three wins from three games.

After a goalless first half in which Australia had four shots on target to none for the Dutch, it was the hosts who took the lead on 57 minutes.

Kim Lammers was the scorer, deflecting a cross from Kelly Jonker past the Australian goalkeeper.

Jonker then had a one-on-one opportunity saved.

Naomi van As completed the scoring with five minutes left as the Netherlands maintained their unbeaten streak to end Australia's with a 2-0 win.
