Second seed Ernests Gulbis will look to extend his perfect record in ATP World Tour finals on Saturday after powering into the final in Nice in the south of France on Friday.
The Latvian needed just 71 minutes to dismiss defending champion Albert Montanes 6-0, 6-3 for a place in the Open de Nice Cote d'Azur final, winning 26 of 27 first-serve points.
Gulbis lifted his fifth ATP World Tour crown at the Open 13 in February. He, so far, has a perfect 5-0 record in finals.
In the Nice final, Gulbis will play this year's Brasil Open champion and seventh seed Federico Delbonis of Argentina, who defeated fourth-seeded Frenchman Gilles Simon 6-2, 6-4 on Friday.
Delbonis, who will be contesting his third final, also reached last year's Hamburg final.
