SOUNDBITE (English) Novak Djokovic (on the wrist injury that kept him out of the Madrid Masters):

"At the moment it's fine, it's very close to 100 per cent and it's much better than it was a week ago. It's not an easy decision, not to go to Madrid, it's a big tournament, I love playing there. I had to listen to the medical staff, to the experts, they explained to me that I have a certain amount, quite high, of the risk, if I go there (Madrid) for the injury to return. Then it's difficult because then it's a chronic pain. You never know how it could follow up, so I decided to take a week of not playing a tournament and practice and follow the process of recovery and of course strengthening the wrist, the tendons and the muscles and now I'm feeling almost close to my maximum and ready to play."
