Organisers of the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games said all the preparatory works have entered the final stretch with test events scheduled for later this month.
The second edition of the Youth Games will be staged in Nanjing city of east China from 16-28 August, 2014.

"Until now, the Chinese Olympic Committee have not been approached by Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) about if China likes to take over hosting the 2019 Asian Games. And as the reporter said just now, no Chinese city has officially put a request to us about their intention to take over and host the 2019 Asian Games. So we will have to wait and see."
