SOUNDBITE: (Arabic) Ons Jaber, WTA player:

"This event is important because I use it to prepare for the French Open. I hope it will be beneficial like last year and I am working hard on the clay court - and why not win the Tunis Open once more?"

SOUNDBITE: (Arabic) Ons Jaber, WTA player:

"The revolution in Tunisia is not a threatening factor, tennis here has always suffered financially and this is a problem you face the more you progress in the world rankings because you have to travel to far off countries and this needs a lot of money. Of course when you're in the top one hundred you have to be more professional. We don't have professional tennis players in Tunisia and you have to find out by yourself and you have to sacrifice lots of things. This is what I'm doing."

SOUNDBITE: (Arabic) Ons Jaber, WTA player:

"My goal is to be among the top seventy by the end of the year and my immediate goal is to qualify for the French Open and I will try to win three qualifying matches - and why not, try to reach the main draw?"
