"I had a couple good races (over) the first few days and I was able to hang in there and come out on top, so yeah, I'm pumped."

Elswhere In the women's division, 2013 world champion Christine Boeninger lost out to Katja Roose from the Netherlands, who clearly enjoyed her weekend -

SOUNDBITE: (English) Katja Roose, winner of Podersdorf event:

"Oh my God, it was super, super close with the girls and we had a pretty big battle with Bibi (Bibiana Magaji) and Christine (Boenniger) so I'm super happy that I won that one."
