    China's men completed a sweep over Germany of the World Team Table Tennis Championship title in Tokyo, Japan on Monday (May 5th).

    Script:

    China's men's team played Germany in the final of the World Team Table Tennis Championship.

    China were looking for their 19th title in 24 appearances in the tournament.

    Ma Long led the Chinese charge and was being made to work by World No 8 Timo Boll.

    Yet Ma, the World No 1, took the match three games to love.

    Into the second match and Dimitrij Ovtcharov beat the World No3 Zhang Jike to level up the the tie.

    The third tie saw Chinese World No 2 Xu Xin face Franziska Patrick who lay twenty-one places below Xin.

    It was left to Ma, China and the World's No 1 to play for the title.

    The favourite ripped through the German hero from earlier - Ovtcharov - winning the game 3-0 and sealing the title for the Chinese once again.
