  • Intro:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Andre Iguodala, Golden State Warriors Forward

"It is interesting I was reading a book last night called 'Love Does'. And this specific chapter was about not giving the word satan, you don't put a capital letter on it. And he says, I refuse to put a capital letter on satan and we give it too much attention. And in this incidence I think we have to ignore ignorance and look at the bigger picture and who we effect, which is our fans, kids globally and show that we can overcome something that like that."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Mark Jackson, Golden State Warriors Head Coach (If race-related scandal involving the Clippers' owner Donald Sterling had effect on game)

"I believe everybody was affected by what took place. I don't believe it was just the (Los Angeles) Clippers. I don't think there was anything said directly towards the (Los Angeles) Clippers and their players. I think it was insulting to all of us. So I wouldn't minimize, we got blown out in game two with no controversy, we own that. At the end of the day we played extremely well today and we won the ballgame. I think both teams were somewhat bothered by what has taken place in the last 24 hours. But my guys just played with great energy and great effort and now we got to L.A. ((Los Angeles)."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors Guard (On dealing with distraction regarding race-related scandal involving the Clippers' owner Donald Sterling)

"I think for me the only way we dealt with the last 24 hours is understanding that the important thing right now, regardless of what's been said or the perception of one individual, like Andre (Iguodala) said the majority of the basketball players in the NBA (National Basketball Association) is all about what goes on in the court. We have some dedicated fans that show up every night and to allow one comment, or a lot of comments, take away from that experience in that part of this time of year is not worth it. So we wanted to come out and focus on all the work that we've put in over the summer, throughout the course of the season, to get ready for this moment in the playoffs and have fun and enjoy it, not let one person ruin that for everybody."
