    Script:

Top seed Grigor Dimitrov was looking for his second title of the season when he took on defending champion Lukas Rosol in the final of the ATP250 event in Bucharest on Sunday.

In what was a first meeting between the two players, a tight first set went to a tie break.

Yet the Bulgarian, cheered on by much of the crowd, found a deft touch to give himself five set points - he took the set at the second attempt, winning it 7-2.

And the World No 15 went on from there. Rosol, the World No 43 was dictating rallies yet Dimitrov's reflexes forced that extra shot from Rosol and here giving Dimitrov the crucial double break.

The Bulgarian looked to have Rosol on the ropes as the Czech was resorting to Dimitrov's change of pace on the ball, and emphasising the crowd favourite's dominance he took the match with a to love game on the Rosol serve.

Dimitrov won 7-6, 6-1 to take the title - and his first trophy on clay.
