Rosol and Dimitrov reach final in Bucarest

  • Intro:

Defending champion Lukas Rosol came from a set down to beat Robin Haase and Grigor Dimitrov's opponent Gael Monfils retired injured in the first set of their semi-final.

    Script:

The Netherland's Robin Haase took on Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic in the semi-final of the Nastase Triac Trophy in Bucarest. It was the dutchman who got off to the better start by taking the first set 6-3.

But the defending champion is not going to give up his title easily and dug deep in this 12 shot rally in the next, he went on to take this set 6-3.

And the momentum built there continued into the final set which he won 6-2. That's nine matches in a row he's won at this tournament.

He'll be looking to make it ten in the final where he will face Grigor Dimitrov. The Bulgarian looked set for a tough semi-final against Gael Monfils but the Frenchman retired in the sixth game through injury. He said afterwards he rolled his ankle walking out onto the court. So a disappointing end for him but the final looks promising as the number one seed goes up against the defending champion.
