Twenty-two time Olympic medallist Michael Phelps trained and met with media on Wednesday, April 23rd, to preview the 2014 Arena Grand Prix at Mesa and explain his reasons for coming out of retirement.

"You know, I think for me, being able to do really nothing for a year and a half, two years, I traveled, I played golf, I gained 30 pounds. I had a lot of fun, and there was something that I missed, and you know, being able to be back in the pool, and being able to just go to the pool and be back at North Baltimore and swim with the group that we have now is incredible."
