Golf: Fung and Kang share lead in Jakarta

    Asian Tour rookie Nicholas Fung of Malaysia and Korean-American Anthony Kang are tied for the lead on a five-under total of 67, after the opening round of the Asian Tour's Indonesian Masters in Jakarta on Thursday (24th April).

    Script:

    The opening round of the Indonesian Masters got underway at the Royal Jakarta Golf Club on Thursday.

    Former British Open winner Louis Oosthuizen, was one of the main attractions on the course, but had to settle for an even par round of 72.

    And Victor Dubuisson, ranked 23rd in the world looked out of sorts throughout his round, shooting a two-over 74.

    Elsewhere Dubuisson's playing partner Thongchai Jaidee,finished off in style with this birdie for a round of 71.

    Meanwhile Anthony Kang shot a five-under round of 67, which included eight birdies. Kang's last win came at the European Tour Malaysian Open in 2009.

    Kang shares the lead with Malaysian rookie Nicholas Fung who carded seven birdies and two bogeys, on route to his score of 67.
