    The Circuit of Ireland International rally was won on Saturday (19th April) by Finland's Esapekka Lappi in a Skoda Fabia.

    Round four of the European Rally Championship concluded on Saturday at the Circuit of Ireland after a one-year absence.

    Finland's Esapekka Lappi took the win with his second win from three starts; one minute 50 seconds clear of his German team mate Sepp Wiegand who finished in second place in his Skoda Fabia.

    Championship leader Lappi had led from the start and secured the victory after the second day of racing around the outskirts of Belfast.

    Robert Barrable took third place in his Ford Fiesta R5.

    Lappi is at the top of the European Rally Championship standings with 98 points
