In Group A of the AFC Champions League, Yong-Hyung Cho scored a last minute winner to hand Al Jazira a 3-2 victory over Al Rayyan, whilst Saeed Al Dosari snatched all three points in second half stoppage-time for Al Shabab against Esteghlal on Wednesday.

    Script:

Second-placed Al Jazira faced bottom-side Al Rayyan in Group A of the AFC Champions League on Wednesday.

After a goalless first half, ex-Getafe attacking midfielder Abdelaziz Barrada curled the ball up and over the wall to put Al Jazira 1-0 up.

Al Rayyan's Luis González was then brought down by Abdulla Qasem and former English Premier League striker Yakubu levelled the match.

Centre-back Musa Haroon then headed in Hamad Al Obaidi's corner to send the visitors in front.

Al Jazira's Ali Ahmed Mabkhout pulled it back to 2-2 before they won it in stoppage time after Yong-Hyung Cho's own goal.

Elsewhere in Group A, leaders Al Shabab had already qualified for the knockout stages when they faced third-placed Esteghlal on Wednesday.

Esteghlal's hopes of making the next round were remote at best but playing for pride they went ahead through Arash Borhani's diving header.

Al Shabab were awarded a penalty for a handball by Mehrdad Oladi after Bader Al Sulaiteen's shot. Fernando netted confidently.

With seconds remaining Al Shabab broke on the counter-attack and Saeed Al Dosari snatched all three points to break the visiting fans' hearts.
