Script:
There was everything to play for on Tuesday, as Qatari outfit Al Sadd travelled to Iran to face Foolad Sepahan in Group D of the AFC Champions League.
The group was evenly poised, with just two points separating all four teams with two games to go.
After a goalless first half Al Sadd were completely undone in the second, a combination of Sepahan forwards Mehdi Sharifi and Hossein Papi, plus some woeful defending.
Three minutes after the interval, Papi slipped a ball square to Sharifi - he rode a half-hearted challenge and curled his shot perfectly inside the post.
Eight minutes later, the pair combined again - this time Sharifi did well to control a pass which was behind him and a crisp finish made it 2-0.
Substitute Xhevahir Sukaj added a third with a unstoppable strike from outside the box in the 63rd minute, before Ibrahim Majed scored an own goal late in stoppage-time to finish off a 4-0 win for Foolad.
A result which lifts them to the top of Group D, after the other match in the group finished goalless between Al-Ahli of the UAE and Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal.
