Mo Farah must be patient - Gebrselassie

Thursday, April 10 2014 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Legendary marathon runner Haile Gebrselassie tells SNTV the 2014 London marathon field is the "best ever" and believes debutante Mo Farah can finish in the top-three.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE (English) Haile Gebrselassie, marathon runner (On what advice he'd give Mo Farah for his debut):

"Maybe at the beginning it looks like too slow for him because he's a track runner. He used to run 2:30 something every kilometre, but Sunday is going to be 2:56-57 every kilometre which is too slow for the track runner. What's important is to learn that, to be patient, to wait until the last minute."
