SOUNDBITE (English): Charlotte Edwards, England captain:

"No, really disappointing performance really today. But I think credit has to go to Australia. I think they bowled exceptionally well. We did not really have any answers with the bat or the ball and you know, they are deserved champions."

SOUNDBITE (English): Charlotte Edwards, England captain:

"I think that we came in to today really confident. We have won the last two Ashes series, we have played really well against them. We had a young side today. So we just did not play well enough and I think I am not going to look too deep into it. It is T20 cricket. You have not got the chance to rebuild like in a Test match or a one-dayer. And we just were not good enough."

SOUNDBITE (English): Charlotte Edwards, England captain:

"See, I am not going to be too downbeat (speaking as the captain). We have had a brilliant winter. This is obviously just a bit of a disappointing end to it. It would have been great to have won this as well. But no, I am as motivated as ever (to carry on as captain)."
