"Oh well, it is amazing. It is a feeling that I can't explain. It is the first time that I have been part of a side that has won a World Cup. We have been disappointed four times before. It is hard to describe exactly what you feel. But you feel very humbled I think at the end because you realise how difficult it is to get here, how much support you need - not just from your teammates - you need it from your family, you need it from your fans, all the support staff. You can never do anything alone. You might be the best batsman in the world, the best bowler in the world, but you need a lot of support. And I think we are very grateful for that and moments like this I think you have got to look back and reflect and really be thankful for that because without that, you would not be here and have the opportunity to do this. So, it has been an amazing journey and walking away, it is time and walk away like this is even better."

"You know, we have so many ... 20 million other people to win it for. It is not just about me or Mahela (Jayawardene) or the two of us or any single person. But at the end of the day, everyone has played an amazing part in this. And like I said, I feel very, very proud to have been part of this side."
