Question: How good is it to be back and hitting cricket balls again?
"It's special. It's the longest break I think I've had from cricket since I started playing for England in 2004, so it has actually been a really refreshing break, something that I've really enjoyed. It's been a good, good time. Obviously it has happened for other reasons, but for me personally, it has been a fantastic break. Coming back here and hitting balls has excited me. I started last week and just coming to the ground and knowing I'm going to be hitting balls is something that gives me a big buzz."

Question: You got a buzz didn't you? That first hit you had with Graham Ford I could see you were enjoying it.
"Well I couldn't see the first five balls. After my eyes had adjusted and I got back into the swing of things it was good fun. I love hitting with Fordy, Fordy is an absolute superstar - he is my mentor, he understands my game so it is not the worst starting point to go from."
