SOUNDBITE: (English) Alastair Cook, England test captain (Question: Are you frustrated with the Kevin Pietersen situation?):
"Yeah, it has been frustrating and obviously I understand the reasons why the ECB have made the decision in one sense. It is frustrating but the decision was obviously a very big decision, a very important decision to be made and it took a lot of guts and a lot of consideration to make that decision. Look, I know things will become clearer in a little bit of time. I know it's frustrating for you as a journalist wanted to find out, and everyone else and it's frustrating for me not being able to totally say my side of the story I suppose. But we just have to be a little bit patient."
"I think yeah. I think moving forward that's going to be the way. We all know how important team culture is and team unity. Results obviously are the be all and end all, we are in a results-driven business, but sometimes you have to get the absolute basics in place first and the results will come."
