The ducks weren't the only common birdies in Carslbad, California.

Lexi Thompson was producing her own on the 14th during the final round of the Kia Classic.

The 19-year-old would eventually finish third on eleven under.

Lizette Salas was also flying.

The California native led overnight, yet despite her birdie on the 14th, she wouldn't retain that advantage.

Anna Nordqvist started the day two shots adrift of Salas but six birdies of her own saw her creep up the leaderboard.

The Swede claimed her fourth LPGA Tour title after carding a 5-under final round of 67 - the perfect preparation heading in to the Kraft Nabisco Championship.

With two titles to her name this season, Nordqvist will want to continue her excellent form in Rancho Mirage this weekend.
