  • Intro:

V Shem Goh hit a shuttlecock through his own legs to help him and Khim Wah Lim reach the men's doubles final in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

    Script:

Thanks to some inspired play from V Shem Goh, he and Khim Wah Lim are through to the men's doubles final at the Malaysian Grand Prix after coming back from a set down to Gideon Fernaldi and Markis Kido.

They will face Danny Bawa Chrisnanta and Chayut Triyachart next after they saw off Andrei Adistia and Hendra Aprida Gunawan.

It wasn't a perfect day for Chrisnanta though as he lost his mixed doubles semi. He and Yu Yan Vanessa Neo were top seeds but were beaten in three sets by Indonesia's Praveen Jordan and Debby Susanto who reached their first ever final together.

In the men's singles Thai teenager Thammasin Sitthikom battled as hard as he could but was eventually beaten by Simon Santoso, he will face Wei Feng Chong in the final.

Experience also told in the women's game, as Indonesia's Adriyanti Firdasari beat Japanese youngster Nozomi Okuhara in straight sets for a place in the final.
