SOUNDBITE: (English) David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox designated hitter:

"I know baseball is a career that at some point things start heading in a different direction. In my case I haven't been able to see that yet. I keep on working hard, I keep on trying. I know that I'm the kind of hitter that everybody look at me differently in this league. And I know what I need to do to continue being successful. And I feel good, my mind is pretty much the same. I'm still hungry. It's like I told Ben (Red Sox General Manager Ben Cherington) when we were going through this negotiation, there's going to be that day that I'm not going to feel like doing what I normally do. And when that happens, everybody going to know it. Meanwhile I feel great. I'm still hungry. I want to keep on winning, winning is good. It feels great when you go out there and kick some ass. And that's what I look for."
