  • Intro:

Peter Prevc delighted the home fans in Slovenia as the ski jumping World Cup season came to a close on Sunday with a final event in Planica, Slovenia.

    Script:

What a way to round off the Ski-Jumping World Cup.

Germany's Severin Freund was fourth after his first jump but this second in Slovenia took him into the provisional lead with three more jumpers to come.
One of those was Slovenia's very own Peter Prevc, Listen to this...
The crowd helped him into first place with a 142 metre jump, the dream end for most here was very much alive.
First Norway's Anders Bardel failed to beat him.
So it was left to Polish World Champion Kamil Stoch to spoil the party. He thought he had done enough but then the results came through he hadn't and it was the Slovenian who can now enjoy this feeling until next season.
