SOUNDBITE (English) Michael Jamieson, Olympic silver (on Commonwealth Games in Glasgow)
"I grew up swimming in Tollcross. I spent six or seven years there. That's kind of where I did the hard yards really as an age group swimmer and a number of times came close to retiring even at 16. That's where I was brought up. It is a few miles from my home and I think this year is a bit different from being in London. I kind of went under the radar a bit. And this season is a bit different. It just means that I have had to work a bit harder this year and especially from a psychological point of view. I am preparing for it."
