World Cup overall champion Anna Fenninger added the giant slalom title to her growing list of accolades at Lenzerheide in Switzerland.

The Austrian, the current Olympic silver medallist in the discipline, prevailed well in poor visibility to beat pre-race standings leader Jessica Lindell-Vikarby of Sweden.

Fenninger was second fastest in the first run, trailing 0.04 behind Anemone Marmottan, who set the pace with 59.33 seconds.

But the French woman slumped out of the reckoning in her second run as the conditions closed in.

While only posting the 15th fastest time down the second run, Fenninger had still done enough to take the win with her combined time of two minutes 1.28 seconds.

She beat team mate Eva-Marie Brem by 0.25 seconds overall, while Lindell-Vikarby - third after the first run - was a further 0.08 seconds behind in third place.

Fenninger's display completed an Austrian clean sweep of race wins and discipline titles on the day.

Marcel Hirscher having earlier won the men's slalom to clinch the season-long trophy.
