Boudat, Cure and Vogel win gold on day four in Cali

    Thomas Boudat, Amy Cure and Kristina Vogel all won gold medals on day four of the UCI Cycling World Championships in Colombia.

    Script:

    Thomas Boudat went into the final event of the men's Omnium with a five point lead after finishing ahead of his nearest rival Tim Veldt in the scratch race.

    Veldt put in a faster time that Boudat in the 1,000 metre time trial but the Frenchman finished just one place behind him and so held on to the overall lead.

    Australian Amy Cure won bronze in the women's individual pursuit on day three but she will remember this championships for day four, she won the points race for her first ever gold in the track cycling World Championships.

    Kristina Vogel has added an individual gold to the women's team sprint medal she won earlier in Championships. The German beat China's Zhong Tianshi 2-0 in Saturday's sprint final.
