The most dramatic action from round eight of the Euroleague top 16 came in Moscow as CSKA beat Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar by just one point. Aaron Jackson scored the crucial free throw that saw CSKA win by 94 points to 93.

There was a feisty atmosphere in Istanbul where Fenerbahce beat Greek side Olympiacos. Linas Kleizer top scored with 21 points but Olympiacos stayed in contention throughout. In fact there was just two points in it with 20 seconds to go when Bo McCalebb's two pointer took him to 20 on the night. Fenerbahce the winners by 78-74.

There was also a tight match at the Audi Dome where a stunning final quarter saw Bayern Munich beat Zalgiris Kaunas 79-73. The Lithuanian side led for most of the match but in the fourth quarter Bayern netted 27 points as Bryce Taylor took his tally to 21.

It was a lot more straight forward in the Spanish capital for Real Madrid who thrashed Partizan Belgrade 80 points to 57. Two Sergios top-scored on the night, Sergio Rodriguez and Sergio Llull both made 19 as Real go top of group F.
