SOUNDBITE (English) Sergei Bubka, Ukraine Olympic Committee:
"I communicated to the International Olympic Committee from my position as (Ukraine National Olympic Committee) NOC President. They explained about Olympic charter, about our rules... (that) this is not possible to do it. They had during the Sochi Games already some other requests and they said 'we understand - your athletes can go to conference, they can express their sadness and express condolences but we should respect the Olympic charter."
