"I did not feel the pressure, I gave myself a mission - to get Team France up and running on the medal table. I thought it would be good for the other athletes to enter the competition in the best possible way. My status, along with one or two other French athletes, gives us this special responsibility. And I have really embraced this responsibility. I had failed in the sprint competition, so it made me very happy yesterday to give France our first medal in these Games, to help Jason, Alexis and Coline feel more relaxed in this competition."
