"I think in the last few years, especially this year and the last one, I have been on the podium in the 1500 metres quite often and I was coming into these Games wanting to have good results right from the beginning. I wanted to reach the final which I did not do in Vancouver four years ago. So I wanted to be in the final and after that, anything can happen in that final because short track is a sport that you can't say who is going to win before it starts, and for me, winning that gold medal means a lot for me and put a lot of confidence into my skating for the rest of the games.
