SOUNDBITE: (English) Scott Blackmun, United States Olympic Committee CEO (denying USOC advised USA athletes not to wear teams colours and kit in public areas for security reasons)
"You know there are people who don't consider us to be the favourites, not in terms of whether we are going to win the most medals, but whether they want us to win the most medals. So that it does sometimes attract attention. We just wanted the athletes to be aware of the fact that if they are not in an accredited area and if they are wearing Team USA apparel, that it may create an increased risk for them. But we didn't say 'don't wear your Team USA apparel', we just want them to be aware of the fact that it does attract attention from time to time."
