'Comprehensive testing is getting better' - WADA President

Thursday, February 06 2014 by SNTV
  • Intro:

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) on Wednesday (5th February) warned dangerous black market drugs stolen from pharmaceutical companies research and development laboratories were being offered to athletes.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE (English) Sir Craig Reedie, WADA President:
"I think pre-competition testing is getting better in general. I think the comprehensive testing that is done here is getting better. I think the science of testing is getting better. If we store these samples for 10 years and technology gets better, we have a better chance of catching cheats, and we have a better chance of protecting the clean athlete."
