    American duo David Wise and Maddie Bowman took the Freestyle World Cup halfpipe titles at Breckenridge on Sunday (12th January).

    Script:

    Heavy snow and high winds in the Rocky Mountains nearly caused the cancellation of the Freestyle World Cup half pipe in Breckenridge.

    But the competitors battled against the condtions and it was David Wise of the USA who coped better than most.

    Wise managed two excellent runs in the trying weather - top scoring with 89.00 points on his second run to take the title.

    Mike Riddle of Canada came home second with a score of 85.20, and France's Kevin Rolland completed the podium.
