EA7 Emporio Armani pulled off a shock 81-51 win over current Euroleague champions Olympiacos Piraeus, while there were also victories for FC Barcelona, Maccabi Electra and FC Bayern Munich on Thursday.

The second round of matches in the Top 16 saw Fenerbahce Ulker (0-1) looking for their first win as they hosted FC Barcelona (1-0) on Thursday.

It was a closely contested game as the half time scoreline showed with the sides level at 39-39.

Barcelona edged to a two point lead at the end of the third quarter and a free throw with ten seconds remaining in the fourth gave them a three point lead.

Fenerbahce raced down the other end to try and snatch a leveller but Bojan Bogdanovic's effort with the last throw bounced off the rim and Barcelona hung on for a 76-73 win.

The American guard sunk 29 points on the way to a crushing 81-51 win.

In Group F Israeli team Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv made it two wins from two as they beat current Eurocup champions Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar.

Maccabi had already beaten Lokomotiv in their previous two regular season games, but the Russians did have a 62-61 lead late in the third quarter.

However a 12-2 run in the fourth quarter led Maccabi to an 85-75 win.

German club FC Bayern Munich were looking to maintain their lead at the top of Group F.

Last week they were 18-point winners over Zalgiris Kaunas, but they found Partizan NIS Belgrade a much tougher prospect.

After being behind in both the first and second quarters Bayern picked up the tempo in the third and fourth to run out 71-65 winners.
