    Highlights from day two of the Billabong Pipe Masters in Oahu, Hawaii on Tuesday (December 10th).

    Surfers were welcomed by a special scenery as the third round of the Billabong Pipe Masters got underway on Tuesday.

    The competition marks the pinnacle of the 2013 ASP season, as it crowns both the ASP World Champion, and Triple Crown of Surfing Champion.

    Mick Fanning, two-time ASP World Champion and current World No. 1, dominated his Round 3 clash with wildcard Kaimana Jaquias.

    But he will up against C.J. Hobgood in the next round, one best pipeline surfers in the world.

    Kelly Slater needs to win the event in order to overtake championship leader Fanning and clinch an historic 12th ASP World Tour title.

    And the 41 year old recorded the highest heat-totals in both rounds 3 and 4. meaning he skips round 5 and goes straight into the quarterfinals. #

    While the surf was just a little too much for some, Miguel Pupo secured his place in next year's ASP World Championship Tour following a victory in his round 3 heat.

    Australia's Yadin Nicol powered through his heats, and like Slater skips round 5 and awaits his opponents in the quarters.
