Finals day at the BWF Superseries China Open and the much anticipated men's single final was a repeat of last year's. Chen Long against the unseeded Wang Zhengming.

Wang had never beaten his opponent before but the underdog took the first game 21-19.

But the defending champion showed exactly why he is ranked number two in the world. He dominated the rest of the match to win in 3, 19-21, 21-8, 21-14.

It was another all-Chinese women's singles final - between Asian Games winner Wang Shixian and Olympic Champion Li Xuerui.
And just like Chen Long did in men's singles, Li came from behind to defend her China Open title 16-21, 21-17, 21-19.

Two unseeded pairs faced each other in men's doubles final.

But Korea's Lee Yong-dae and Yoo Yeon-seong proved too strong for Hoon Thien How and Tan Wee Kiong, taking the match in just 34 minutes.

In the mixed doubles, World champions Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir had a tough fight against Denmark's Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen.

After only scoring only five points in the second game, they came back to win the decider.

China's Yu Yang and Wang Xiaoli also defended their China Open title by beating compatriots Bao Yixin and Zhong Qianxin 21-13, 21-7 to make it 3 titles for the hosts.
