Looking to book their place in the Top 16, Fenerbahce Ulker made a strong start in Athens.

Romain Sato provided the main offensive impetus for Fenerbahce, scoring 20 points plus 8 rebounds.

Andy Panko led Panathinaikos with 15 points as the hosts ran out comfortable 69-55 winners.

With a game-high 22 points, Thomas Heurtel was once again the hero for Caja Laboral as they kept their hopes alive of further progress in Euroleague.

Anadolu Efes had already sealed a spot in the Top 16.

A big fourth quarter for the visitors helped them to a surprisingly comfortable 91-76 win.

EA7 Emporio Armani Milan looked well placed to secure the Group D victory and progress to the next stage, following a strong second period against Zalgiris Kaunas.

However, Zalgiris fought back and consecutive baskets from Paulius Jankunas earned the Lithuanian champions a 65-63 win.

Zalgiris and Olympiacos share first place but the former have the tiebreak in their favour.

In a dramatic finish at the Siemens Arena, Lietuvos Rytas held on to beat Brose Baskets Bamberg 67-62.

Both teams now sport identical 2-7 records - as do Partizan mts Belgrade.
