The Houston Rockets welcomed new acquisition James Harden at an open practice for charity on Sunday, just three days before the start of their 2012-13 NBA season.

Harden completes an off-season overhaul for the Rockets, who've missed the play-offs the last three seasons. Houston cut or traded every veteran player, including shooting guard Kevin Martin (who was part of the Harden deal), point guard Kyle Lowry, backup Goran Dragic, shooting guard Courtney Lee and popular forward Luis Scola.
