Windy conditions greeted the players ahead of the final round of the LPGA Taiwan Championships in Yang Mei in Taiwan on Sunday.

Catriona Mathew of Scotland got to 12-under when she attempted an eagle on the par five 6th hole. Mathew would settle for a birdie there, en route to a round of 70.

Local favourite Yani Tseng could only play well in patches and the highlight of her round of 71 was this chip for eagle on the 9th hole.

Overnight leader Inbee Park of South Korea stuttered in her round early on and ended with a bogey on fifth hole.

With Park dropping down, Suzann Pettersen of Norway climbed to the top with some impressive short game. Pettersen made some crucial par saves early on and then on the way back put some distance between her and the rivals with a birdie on the 15th hole.

She then finished off in style when she drained this birdie putt on the 18th. That would seal a round of 69 for the Norwegian star and a three shot win over Inbee Park.

For Pettersen, it was back to back titles on the LPGA tour and she claimed the $300,000 winners cheque.
