    Script:

Friday's second round at the Women's British Open in Hoylake was postponed due to strong winds.

Although a handful of players teed off in the morning, winds gusting up to 60mph (95kph) soon began to cause havoc - with play soon suspended.

Their scores were declared void and they will be able to resume their second rounds from the start.

Friday's cancellation of play leaves the distinct possibility of a Monday finish to the year's final major.
