Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Sergio Martinez made their ceremonial arrivals at the Wynn Las Vegas ahead of their middleweight unification bout this Saturday.
In the build up to the fight the pair have exchanged unpleasantries on more than one occasion, but Mexican Chavez says this will only make him stronger.
SOUNDBITE: Chavez (Spanish) "It's great motivation. We've been going back and forth. He's been insulting me. I just want the fight to be great. I want the fight to be one the fan's remember for the rest of their lives. And I'm going to give them that."
Martinez meanwhile insists it's personal, but the Argentine is confident he can win by knock-out and says this is all part of his long-term plan:
SOUNDBITE: Martinez (Spanish) "I'm ready for everything to come - media, everything. This is just another step to become pound-for-pound number one."
The pair touch gloves on September 15th which, luckily for Chavez, just happens to be Mexican Independence Day weekend.
