DJ Bolt gets party started

Monday, September 10 2012 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Following his final race of the season, Usain Bolt was the guest DJ at a Jamaican Party in Brussels on Friday.

Hours earlier, the 26-year-old had run the 100 metres, at the Diamond League meeting, in 9.86 seconds.

    Script:

Friday night in Brussels and party time for the locals.

And, hours after winding up his season at the Van Damme Memorial, Usain Bolt had another reason to sweat in the Belgian capital.

Swapping the blocks for decks, the triple OC - Olympic champion that is - became MC and DJ at a Jamaican Party.

Last month, the sprint star did a similar turn at a club in London's Brick Lane after taking part in the 2012 Games.

Bolt successfully defended his 100, 200 and 4x100 metres titles in London. And he looked just as comfortable on the dancefloor as he does on the track.

On Friday, the 26-year-old ran the 100 metres at the Brussels Diamond League meeting, clocking 9.86 seconds.

As a successful summer draws to a close, it was time for Bolt to take to the stage once more. This time with fellow sprinter Yohan Blake and Shaggy.

He declared himself a living legend after the Olympics, now it's time to celebrate.
