Audi claimed the manufacturers title in the inaugural FIA World Endurance Championship, after victory for Andre Lotterer at Silverstone.

The German together with team-mates Benoit Treluyer and Marcel Fassler helped Audi seal the constructors' title to add to the manufacturers crown.

Audi crossed the finish line with a healthy 55 second lead over Toyota's TS030-Hybrid entry, with Audi's sister car R18 taking third place.

Lotterer pulled away from the chasing Toyota, and established a healthy 10-second advantage before his first pit-stop.

Having stayed out on the track for longer between stops, Audi continued to set the pace.

With Toyota taking an additional pit-stop before the end of the race, Lotterer took the chequered flag to the delight of his team.
