Members of the Jamaican athletic team - including Usain Bolt and Warren Weir - were finally able to celebrate on Saturday at a party hosted by sportswear giant and team sponsor Puma.
The Jamaican-themed celebration began just hours after the 4 by 100 metres team set a new world record on their way to gold in the event.

A small part of the English capital was transformed into Kingston on Saturday night as sportswear giants Puma hosted a party.

Just hours after the completion of their stunning track and field success at the London 2012 Games members of Jamaica's athletics team - who are sponsored by Puma - were the guests of honour.

Usain Bolt - arguably the man of the moment and now a self-professed "living legend" - was again the star attraction of the night.

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Usain Bolt, Jamaica:

"I'm feeling great. I am happy and I did what I did and I came here to be legend and I am now so I am very happy with myself."
After claiming 100 and 200-metre golds, the 25-year-old anchored Jamaica to victory in the 4 by 100-metre relay in a new world record time of 36.84 seconds.

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Usain Bolt, Jamaica:

"It is a wonderful feat. We always come out here and give it our best. At the last Olympics we did great and at this Olympics we did great, so for me it was an honour to share it with these guys and to do wonderful things and extraordinary things - so for me, I am very happy."

Bolt became the first man to ever defend the 100 and 200 metres Olympic titles, beating Blake into second in both races.
