SOUNDBITE: (Korean) Lee Ki-Heung, Chef de Mission of South Korea:
(on inconsistencies with appeals process in Olympics - rough translation)
"What we have understood here is each sports federation has different rules in terms of appeals. I believe it is something that the IOC has to deal with. Because for reasons of consistency, there can be lot of grounds for misunderstanding in terms of issues. In terms of Shin A Lam, KOC never asked for a special medal."

SOUNDBITE: (Korean) Lee Ki-Heung, Chef de Mission of South Korea:
(on the possible punitive action on the four disqualified Korean badminton players)
"It will depend on the result of our investigation. If they did something wrong, they will be punished. And the level of punishment will depend on what kind of wrongdoing they have done. It could be a year or two that they won't be able to play or it could be that they will be eliminated completely from ever playing again for their country. It could apply to all athletes or just some, but that will be decided after our investigation."
