SOUNDBITE: (English) Carl Hester, team dressage gold medalist, GB: "It has been a very special moment for British dressage to get this medal because there has never been a medal, let alone a gold one in our sport before. So actually to get a gold one really rocked it for us I think, and for all of our fans. And the fact that, I know the Olympics is about beating everybody, but Germany has dominated this sport for the last seven Olympics winning gold. So it was doubly special to actually beat them here as well. Not anyone want to see any other nation crumble, but we did raise our hands and we quite enjoyed it."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Laura Bechtolsheimer, team dressage gold medalist, GB: "I think everyone in my family has dropped their German passport, everyone is British these days. My parents moved to England when I was one year old. My brothers and I have all growing up feeling very British, all been through British education and universities over here in England. For us I think they are all extremely happy."
