Russia unveils 2012 Olympic Uniform

    The official Russian Olympic uniform for the 2012 games in London was unveiled on Thursday at a presentation in Moscow.

    On thursday the 28th of June, the Russian association revealed their official kit that will be worn by their chosen athletes at the London 2012 Olympic games.

    The kit was designed by Russian giant "Bosco" who are also sponsoring the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014.

    The national sponsor designed more than 30 different outfits for 1000 sportsmen and delegation members.

    These included outfits for the day-to-day life in the Olympic village through to the suits for the opening and closing ceremonies.

    Former Olympic champion Svetlana Zhurova said that the Russian uniform has always been very popular among Russian and foreign fans.

    "People know us on the streets and it is important. There is no country that is buying a national team uniform. Although there were cases when American Team started to sell the uniform in Salt-lake city and they wore it. But our uniform is flaring. We are always very notable."

    It's now just 29 days until the start of this years games.
